Annotation Playground
The annotations on this site are the one thing allowed to break the grid. Everything else lines up. These don't, on purpose. They're meant to feel handwritten, tilted just enough, off by the right amount, never the same twice. The angle, how far the arrow bows, where it points, all of it shifts from one note to the next. Reuse the same bend or the same tilt everywhere and it stops reading organic. It reads machine.
this one breaks the grid
and this one leans
Try telling an agent you want a 10 degree rotation, decide it’s wrong, ask for 30, decide that’s wrong too. You could go back and forth like that for an hour and never land on the spot that just looks right. So I had Claude wire up dials for the real geometry instead, tuned every note by hand against the live page, then built a way to copy the tuned placement straight back into the site’s data file. Drag it here until it looks right, copy, paste, done.
no two the same
Go ahead, mess with it. Nothing here saves.
